The Ruin - sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms
The Ruin is our most spacious cottage, having been transformed from a 17th century derelict mill related building into a spacious, airy one level cottage flooded with light.
The slate floor entrance leads into a spacious kitchen and dining area with patio doors and a view into the garden, although your eye will be drawn with pleasure to the beautiful oak roof trusses exposed in the full height ceiling. A feature stone archway leads into a separate lounge with a substantial stone open fire place topped by a chunky log mantelpiece. The bedrooms en-suite, one double and one twin, are located at opposite ends of the cottage on either side of the full height elegant, light filled lounge. |
"Thank you so much for you warm welcome and all the help and advice you gave us. The cottage and surroundings are stunning. All in all you made us feel very much at home. We couldn't have asked for more friendly hosts. We absolutely loved the cottage and really don't want to leave. Thanks again, we will recommend you to family and friends. Garath and Jaime," Pontypool, South Wales
"A most relaxing and enjoyable break in the most relaxing of atmospheres. The cottages are so beautifully set and the attention to detail exceptional. Thank you for your kindness, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as a family. Stuart, Morag-Anne, Mark," Jonathan, Joshua, Torrane, East Dunbartonshire
