From the main courtyard of the farm, the Byre is accessed through a handmade oak stable door. The open plan kitchen and lounge with a wonderful German wood-burning stove.
The staircase with a ranch-style balustrade leads up to a double bedroom en-suite with a full size dormer window, maximising the view over the farm and the valley to the south. The double log bed is framed by a beautiful queen's post oak truss. An unusual feature in this roomy one-bedroom cottage is the "children's door" which opens out into a BBQ area.
